Sam's National BBQ Tour - Daphne Al.

We were very glad to go south for this one. We left a day early to miss the second round of snow, but drove through the snow storm in Gadsden, Al. Made it to Daphne Thursday about 2:00PM, relaxed with family, trimmed meat & of course had seafood for dinner! It was a great event. Congrats to Jack's Old South for Grand and Red eyed smokers for Reserve Grand. "Smoke on This" came in 4th Overall, 2nd Chicken, 11th Pork & 4th in Brisket. Just so you all know, Myron & his wife cooked alone and won the competition. - He hasn't forgotten how to cook! --  Next Stop Bainbridge, Ga. March 14th.

Such a pretty place for a BBQ contest,  Brasstown Valley Resort.  Bobby Brumley always does a fantastic job. He even  ordered beautiful weather this year. We came in 7th Overall, 4th Chicken, 5th Ribs, 6th Brisket. Congrats to Killer B's BBQ for Grand and Smoke me Silly for Reserve Grand. And to top it all off, we got to help Tori Bray celebrate her 21st birthday. Next Stop - Sam's in Daphne, Al

A NEW YEAR!

We are excited to get the new year started. The last 5 months of 2014 were challenging, to say the least! Besides cooking for 31 week-ends, we sold our home of 13 years & moved to a more comfortable place -- no steps, anywhere! We are really enjoying the change. Just keep in mind when you come through Knoxville, Tn., we are only 1 mile off I-40/I-75!! And we have a hook-up for your rig! We have changed up our schedule a bit for the year, and are excited to get 2015 under way!
